Every Dog Has its Day - Narwal’s Pet Squad

Here at Narwal, we’re always listening to our customers - that’s why we created ort Facebook Group, so that we could better keep in touch with you. There, not only can we answer your questions and concerns, we also get to hear cute and funny stories about our robots, and while we were reading through your stories, one thing kept coming up - your pets!

Many of our team have pets themselves, so we know the joy of adding a four-legged friend to the house. As cleaning experts, though, we also understand the messes they can bring - that’s why we always keep pets in mind when we’re designing our products, to make sure our robots can clean up their messes with ease, all while being pet-friendly. So today, in honor of our furry friends, we’d like to share some of our favorite pet stories from our customers!

Wordle - Taking Care of a Pack’s Worth of Messes

Everyone says “the more the merrier”, and when it comes to pets, it’s definitely true! But at the same time, one dog can already create chaos around the house, and many just multiply the madness. Just ask Wordle’s owner, Kris - with Wordle and all her puppies, things can get messy easily. Luckily, Freo’s there to save the day!

There are few nicer ways to spend the day than playing with dogs outside, plus finding the time can be hard and cleaning up afterwards can be a nightmare, but Freo takes care of all the cleaning for Kris. With Narwal taking care of the cleaning for them, not only do they have time to play outside, they also don’t have to worry about making messes when they go back home - Freo’s cleaning report is proof that the entryway is getting the deep clean it needs. Now all Wordle and the family have to do when they get home is take a post-play nap on the sparkling clean floors Narwal has prepared for them.

Waddles - Puppy Love

Not all pets are created equal, at least not when it comes to fluff. If hairless cats are at one end of the spectrum, our next pet Waddles is at the other. Named for the infamous corgi walk, Waddles has a special gene that makes her extra fluffy, making shedding season no joke. Fortunately, Waddles’ owner, Bryan, has a Narwal, so all the fuzz gets vacuumed up in no time.

That is, fuzz-free floors were the expected benefit, but Waddle got another surprise too - falling in love. Any pet owner can tell you how much pets normally hate vacuum cleaners, but thanks to Narwal’s pet-friendly design and emphasis on reducing sound, old grudges were quickly overcome. Here at Narwal, we love to hear that our efforts to take pets into account succeeded - arguably too much, even, as Bryan sometimes has to distract her just so Narwal can get its job done!

Pumpkin - New Tricks for an Old Dog

Senior dogs are sadly often overlooked at pet shelters, but Pumpkin’s owner, Rebecca, knew how special she was the moment they laid eyes on her. They soon realized, though, that Pumpkin had a problem with eating too fast, so they got a feeding ball to slowly drop food on the ground while Pumpkin played with it. This solved the speed issue, but now it was important that the floors be literally so clean you could eat off them. The solution? A Narwal robot.

An old dog and a new, high-tech friend - who would’ve guessed they would be a perfect match! Now Pumpkin can eat off the floor worry-free, and there’s also more time to play since Narwal’s taking care of the floors. Even better, when Rebecca is out, Pumpkin likes to watch her new friend go around tidying up, and once Rebecca gets back, they have all the time in the world to have fun while Narwal cleans up any messes that happen along the way.
